Beautifully crafted theorbo by renowned luthier Karl Kirchmeyr, built after the famous Christoph Koch Venetian instrument from around 1650 and closely following the original museum specifications.
In perfect condition and professionally used on stage in accompaniment with Claire Lefilliâtre and Graindelavoix.
* 7 double courses + 7 single diapasons (as on the original)
* String length: 82.7 / 160 cm (as on the original)
* Spruce soundboard with ebony purfling
* Three-piece rose
* 15-rib Indian rosewood body
* Ebony veneered neck and bass neck
* Ebony fingerboard and pegs
* Traditional French polish
* Includes Goetz case
